Join the RACS Neighbourhood!

Justice and dignity for refugees is the shared vision of RACS and our supporters.

We believe:

  • In a fairer and more compassionate Australia

  • In welcome and hospitality over exclusion and suspicion

  • That refugees and people seeking asylum can and do make a valuable contribution to our communities

We’re taking action together to turn this vision into reality.

Why the Neighbourhood?

The people we serve have fled grave danger. Far from home, they’re faced with a cruel and complex pathway to protection in Australia. They need a Neighbourhood they can rely on, whatever the crises or fluctuating funding policies of the day.

Ongoing financial support from the Neighbourhood of refugee rights advocates keeps our frontline legal services and advocacy going, whatever the political climate.

What does it mean to be a resident?

RACS Neighbourhood “residents” give monthly to fuel frontline legal services for refugees and people seeking asylum.

Your gift of $45 a month is the equivalent of funding one visa application per month. Any gift of $2 or more is tax deductible.

As a resident, you’ll receive:

  • Quarterly updates about the impact of your generosity

  • Stories from the work we’re doing together

Become a resident of the RACS Neighbourhood.
Your monthly gift can be any amount!
