Leave a gift in your will
A bequest to RACS is one of the most meaningful ways of ensuring that you leave a legacy that continues to benefit refugees and people seeking asylum.
Honour your memory and make a difference to a cause you really care about. Your lasting gift will see refugees and people seeking asylum supported to remain in safety here in Australia, through access to RACS’s essential legal support.

How to leave a gift in your will
Considering what to include in your will is often deeply personal. Many may find it important to consult with their family and loved ones before considering leaving a gift to the Refugee Advice & Casework Service.
Decide on the gift you would like to leave.
Choose an executor.
Discuss your decisions with a solicitor or financial advisor.
Decide on the wording you would like to use. You may find the following words helpful for inclusion in your will:
“I bequeath to the Refugee Advice & Casework Service of 30 Botany Street, Randwick NSW 2031 (ABN: 46 008 173 978) [a specified sum/specified items/the residue of my estate] for its general purposes, free of all duties and taxes. The receipt of the Treasurer or other duly authorised officer of the organisation shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my executor(s).”
We are deeply appreciative of your consideration to leave a gift to the Refugee Advice & Casework Service. Our work would be impossible without the generous support of people such as yourself.
Leave a gift in memory
Celebrate the life of a loved one by giving a gift in their memory. Create a lasting legacy with either a one-off or recurring donation.
If you would like to invite friends and family to make a gift to the Refugee Advice & Casework Service during a funeral or memorial service, donation forms and envelopes can be arranged.
